Overview

Imperial Place is a residential development in Kettering delivered through a complex town centre construction programme. The project involved major structural work, new accommodation, ground floor commercial space, external envelope construction and internal residential fit-out.

Newlands experience

The works required close coordination of structural steel, scaffolding, external wall construction, windows, roofing and internal trades. Newlands' experience covered construction delivery, procurement, programme coordination, quality control and commercial management throughout the project.

Key considerations

Key considerations included working within a constrained urban location, coordinating a multi-storey structural frame, managing the interface between the existing surroundings and new construction, and maintaining consistent quality through to completion of the residential accommodation and external areas.
